We’ve got a real estate sales market update for you this week, but first a shout-out to a great local business that’s coming through in these tough times. Nalls Produce has been around on Beulah Street since 1961. Most locals know them for their great annuals that seem a little brighter and more long-lasting than plants bought elsewhere. But the Produce part of their name is key now. Nalls thinks of themselves as “your everyday farmers market” and for good reason. They partner with local farms and orchards to bring the freshest seasonal fruits, veggies, milk, eggs, and gourmet foods from independent businesses. You can call ahead and they’ll bring your order to your car or you can go inside. Either way, you’re in for a treat. I’m addicted to their Spicy Cajun Snack Mix!
Our local real estate market is still booming in spite of the health crisis. Very low inventory and attractive interest rates are driving the activity. Multiple contract offers are still common. I give some numbers in our video, showing a less-than one month supply of homes in the surrounding area. We have instituted strict protocols to follow and exceed CDC guidelines to keep our clients, our team and the general public safe.
