We hope you all get out and enjoy the nice weather we are supposed to have this weekend! Sounds like it will be a good time to get outside. Here are a few activities that will be going on around town:
The running group DC Road Runners is sponsoring a 10K run at Fort Hunt in Alexandria on Sunday. Over at Georgetown University, the men’s lacrosse team will take on Harvard Saturday.
Interested in checking out some live music? The Legwarmers will be at the State Theatre tonight performing a wide range of 80?s tune, and the Claremont Trio will play classical tunes at the National Academy of Sciences Auditorium.
On Saturday, you may want to go to the Smudge Comics Arts Expo at the Artisphere (showcases independent comics), or attend the DC Craft Beer Festival at the Washington Convention Center. About 75 breweries (many from the DC area) will showcase 150 varieties of beer at this first-time event.
Theatre events include “Orlando” at Theatre on the Run,“Pinocchio”at the Industrial Strength Theatre.
