Glenwood Mews
Glenwood Mews is a collection of 62 townhomes off of Telegraph Road in the Kingstowne area. There are garage units along Belleau Woods Lane and Glenwood Mews Drive and non-garage units on Glenwood Mews Court. Available models include the Bradleigh, Canterbury, Chadwicke and Laurel. The majority of the community was built between 1995-1996, with some townhomes added in 2007. Neighbors enjoy the use of a playground, walking trails and treed common spaces. Personnel based at the U.S. Coast Guard station only have to walk directly across the street to get to work-talk about an easy commute! It is also possible to walk to a bus stop located right in front of Glenwood Mews. All major transportation routes including the Fairfax County Parkway and Interstates 495, 395 and 95 are within a short distance, as are the Van Dorn and Franconia-Springfield Metro stations (blue line trains). The VRE has stations close by too. Children attend Fairfax County schools-Hayfield Elementary and Hayfield Secondary Schools.

Recreation choices offered nearby include Huntley Meadows Wildlife Preserve and Franconia District Park and RECenter, which includes an indoor swimming pool, exercise facilities, sports courts, athletic fields and much more. The Kingstowne Town Center is a popular choice for entertainment, shopping and dining. Restaurants consist of Bonefish Grill, Firehouse Subs, Moby Dick House of Kabobs, Macaroni Grill, Panera and many more. There is also a 16-screen movie theater and several shops such as World Market, Home Goods among others. All of the unique shops, restaurants and historical/cultural activities of Old Town Alexandria are nearby. Several local employment centers and military bases are close by. The offices at Metro Park (including the INOVA Healthplex, numerous government contractors and technology companies), Fort Belvoir, the Hoffman Buildings, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office are all very convenient.
