Amberleigh

Amberleigh is a lovely townhome community nestled amongst tree-lined streets in Northern Virginia. Consisting of 502 homes, it is located in the Alexandria/Kingstowne area of Southern Fairfax County, just outside of the Capital Beltway. Available models include the Timberleigh, Woodleigh, Ashleigh, Stoneleigh, Ridgeleigh and Oakleigh; there are 2 and 3 bedroom options as well. This neighborhood is convenient to all major commuter routes such as the Fairfax County Parkway and I-495/395/95 and is only a 10 minute walk to the Springfield Metro (Blue line trains) and VRE’s Fredericksburg line via a pedestrian footpath. There is a Fairfax Connector bus stop right near the entrance to Amberleigh. Residents enjoy the sole use of amenities which include a basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, a fenced-in dog park, multiple tot lots and a RV storage lot. Amberleigh Park is adjacent to the neighborhood and features peaceful wooded areas and walking trails. Children attend Island Creek Elementary and Hayfield Secondary Schools.

Living in Amberleigh

This area of Alexandria is convenient to many local employment centers. The Metro Park complex is located off Beulah Street and the Fairfax County Parkway and features many defense contractors, technology companies, the Springfield-Franconia Inova Healthplex and more. Major military establishments in the area include Fort Belvoir, the Pentagon, the U.S. Coast Guard Navigation Center, Bolling Air Force Base and Fort Myer.

Shopping, dining and entertainment options abound. Locally, the Kingstowne Town Center contains a 16-screen movie theater, 2 grocery stores, shops and restaurants. Dining choices include Bonefish Grill, Panera Bread, Noodles and Company and Pasara. World Market, Home Goods and a variety of other merchants can be found at the Town Center as well.

Another option is the Landsdowne Centre, which houses a Fairfax County library, a CVS, Mission Barbecue, Pho Bowl, a hair salon and a gas station among other things. Those looking for a little recreation can go to Franconia District Park and Rec Center (indoor swimming pool, athletic fields and fitness center) or Greendale Golf Course. Old Town Alexandria, Arlington and D.C. are all only a few minutes drive; there are tons of exciting activities to be found for all!
