Willow Creek
With its easy access to the Beltway, I-395/495/95 and the Van Dorn Metro station, Willow Creek is an excellent community for the busy commuter. This small subdivision consists of 78 garage and non-garage townhomes built in 1985. Total square footage ranges between 2,553 and 2,688; most homes have 3 bedrooms. There is a community playground for everyone to enjoy. Children attend Bush Hill Elementary, Twain Middle and Edison High Schools. Both the Hoffman and Kingstowne Town Centers are well located near Willow Creek. They both feature office buildings, large movie theaters and tasty restaurants. Kingstowne also has 2 grocery stores, a dry cleaner, hair and nail salons and an assortment of shops; there is a wonderful farmer’s market there during the summer and fall months. When the Hoffman Town Center is completed it will feature additional retailers, 2 full service hotels and residential spaces.

The nearby U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Federal District Courthouse in Alexandria are just a few blocks away from the Hoffman Town Center. Willow Creek is very close to Old Town Alexandria. No matter what your interests are, there is something there for everyone. There are art galleries, top-rated restaurants, historic attractions, upscale boutiques, places to hear live music and plenty of green space down along the Potomac River. Ronald Reagan National Airport is located just off the GW Memorial Parkway—very convenient when you want to take that trip of a lifetime!
This community is located about halfway between Tyson’s Corner and Washington D.C. Whether you are going shopping at Tyson’s Corner Center or Tyson’s Galleria or heading to your downtown office building, you don’t have far to go. Personnel based at several area military facilities have a painless commute from this neighborhood. They include Fort Belvoir, the Pentagon, Bolling Air Force Base, Fort Myer and the Navy Yard. Local Fairfax Connector and Metro bus service, VRE and Amtrak trains are alternatives if you would rather not drive into work. Nearby Franconia District Park, Sportrock, Cameron Run Regional Park and Jungles Gym offer plenty of ways to keep in shape. Sportrock is the area’s leading indoor rock climbing facility and Cameron Run includes a Great Waves Waterpark, a miniature golf course, numerous batting cages and fishing opportunities at the 4-acre Cook Lake.
