Hidden Glen is a subdivision of 48 townhomes along Franconia Commons Drive and Franconia Commons Court in Alexandria. These 3-4 bedroom homes have either a 1 or a 2 car garage. Square footage ranges between 2,012 and 3,342. Construction commenced in 1994 and was completed in 1997. Residents enjoy the use of basketball courts and playgrounds. The community is located very close to Franconia, Kingstowne and Springfield, leaving residents with the ability to enjoy the best of all worlds. Several shopping centers, restaurants and professional centers are within walking distance. Numerous medical offices, travel agencies, Honeybaked Ham and CVS are located along Franconia Road.

Situated just outside the Beltway, Hidden Glen is a perfect location for commuters. Residents easily find their way to downtown D.C., Tyson’s Corner and Arlington. Interstates 495/395/95 and the Fairfax County Parkway are just a few traffic lights away, as is the Franconia-Springfield Metro station. VRE as well as various bus routes are available as well. Just down the street, the Kingstowne Town Center also features an abundance of restaurants, shops, grocery stores and a 16-screen movie theater. Popular choices include World Market, Home Goods, Panera Bread, Bonefish Grill and Pasara.

A number of military establishments and other local employers are near Hidden Glen. Residents easily travel to the Pentagon, Fort Belvoir, Fort Myer, the Coast Guard Station on Telegraph Road and Bolling Air Force Base. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Hoffman Buildings, and the offices at the Metro Park Complex are convenient as well. Metro Park companies include Calibre, SAIC, the INOVA Healthplex and many others. Many Hidden Glen residents also commute to D.C., Fairfax and other cities throughout the area.
