Episode 35 | Saving Kids with Lemonade

This week our office became a louder, more smiley and fun place as the kids from Chesterbrook Academy in Alexandria hosted an event for Alex’s Lemonade Stand. This awesome charity’s mission is to find cures for all children battling cancer. We’re happy to support this fine organization and big thanks to the kids, their teachers, and all the donors and lemonade drinkers that made it a big success!

I’ve never been this thirsty in my entire life.

Hey mister want some lemonade?

Hi everyone Tom Pietsch with Tom and Cindy and Associates at Long & Foster and we’ve got the kids from Chesterbrook Academy here and what they’re doing is a lemonade sale benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand is a foundation that fights childhood cancer in the name Alex Scott who was a young child that was diagnosed at the age of one with cancer, and literally at the age of four started a lemonade stand. And the foundation has raised over 150 million to fight childhood cancer. You guys are awesome.

So these kids are fabulous salesmen and we wish we had some of them on our team, probably will have to wait a few years. But they’re selling some lemonade and it’s all for a great cause.

So the kids had a great time we had a great time and they raised some good money for a very worthy charity. So it was a good time had by all.
