About

Stoneybrooke

Welcome to Stoneybrooke, a subdivision of 250 single family homes built between 1969 and 1970 in Alexandria. Residents are encouraged but not required to join the Stoneybrooke Citizens Association. The $20 fee funds the community directory, monthly newsletters, social activities and the association’s new website. According to their website, the association is a great resource for local information about traffic and school initiatives; strong membership boosts their relationships with local politicians and other neighborhood associations. The Stoneybrooke Sentinel is a terrific avenue for residents—it includes articles from the Franconia District Supervisor neighborhood watch information, a roster of neighborhood babysitters, announcements, classified section and an event calendar.
