Hawthorne is a fabulous community of 148 single family homes and townhomes in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria. Tucked away between the Island Creek and Landsdowne subdivisions, there isn't much through traffic in this community. The Kingstowne Town Center is also very popular with residents-it features several restaurants (Macaroni Grill, Firehouse Subs, Panera Bread and Bonefish Grill among others), shops (World Market, Home Goods, Famous Footwear and more), 2 grocery stores, a gas station and a 16-screen movie theater. Nearby Top Golf (miniature golf and driving range) and Lee District Park offer leisure activities. Lee District has an indoor swimming pool, exercise facilities, dance studios and outdoor sports courts/fields.
